We are responding to the COVID-19 outbreak by following CDC, World Health Organization, and our medical societies’ recommendations and protocols. We are monitoring this evolving situation closely and we are meeting regularly and communicating proactively to continue to respond to the challenges.
We are happy to announce that we have started to open our office for appointments. Please be assured that we are taking the utmost precautions to ensure the absolute highest safety standards that meet all Federal, State and County guidelines.
This includes having the necessary supplies and personal protective equipment for the staff as well as cleaning and hygiene methods and social distancing practices for all patients and staff. For patient resources and info please visit our COVID -19 info page.
We are here to help keep you and your family healthy and safe as we navigate COVID-19 together.
Keeping this in mind, CardioCares is now offering video-based telehealth, so you can stay home and still receive care.
Telehealth and virtual video visits allow you to connect to your healthcare provider remotely over video and is a great alternative for visits that do not need a physical exam.
This is great option for those patients who prefer convenience and flexibility and for problem visits, follow-up visits, reviewing laboratory and test results, medication questions and refills.
To hold a virtual visit, you will have to schedule an appointment and you will need a phone, tablet or computer with a built-in camera and with internet or cellular access.
Please call our office to learn if your medical need can be effectively met through a virtual visit.
Recognizing that many patients have had to cancel or postpone their appointments recently, some of our locations will offer extended hours and Saturday morning appointments in addition to our regular office hours. We hope this is helpful and convenient for you.
We do not offer COVID testing but we can provide a script to get tested at a local commercial laboratory.
If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, loss of smell/taste ,gastro intestinal symptoms or are otherwise concerned you have COVID-19, we ask that you do not come to our office without calling your primary care physician or engaging with a provider through a virtual visit to be evaluated.
We request you to have a clinician evaluate your situation to determine if you need to be seen in-person and if you meet CDC guidelines for testing for COVID-19 based on symptoms, travel and exposures.
The Practice is presently welcoming new patients and looking forward to a steady relationship, emphasizing Doctor/Patient team approach for best outcomes. Most major forms of insurance are accepted
We love our patients, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
